DS Dalgleish & Son was formed when I joined my father David in 1968, by 1972 we decided to take on the Datsun (Nissan) franchise in Galashiels and we have now successfully represented the manufacturer till the present day.

The Hyundai franchise was added in 1986, and after building a new purpose built facility in Hawick we added the Renault dealership in 1992. Further expansion took place in 1996 with the purchase of the Coldstream facility and our Citroen franchise was added to Coldstream in 1997. Since then our original Arcade showroom in Galashiels has been adapted to accommodate a Yamaha motorcycle dealership which is run under the name of BCG Bikes.
